Drawing from both dance and theater, your students will examine ideas, build skills and acquire tools for developing exceptional interactions and improbable partnering onstage.

This training includes:

• movement training, class exercises, and participation in a rehearsal process
• training in physical climbing skills to create multi-person shapes and sculptures
• improvisational movement
• examination of the effects of shifts in movement dynamics, voice and imagery to unleash physical communication
• examination of abstract storytelling as a means of building onstage relationships

Variations of this class can be provided as a 1hr, half-day, full-day or semester-long course, depending on your requirements. If done as a semester-long class, we culminate in the creation of a dance-theater piece performed by the enrolled students.
