Have you always wondered what it would be like to be a dancer?  Here is your chance to find out – with no previous experience required! 

Have Chris Elam, Misnomer's Artistic Director, choreograph a new work on you, tailored to your abilities and interests.  Come away with an artistic distillation of your most meaningful memories and with a practical understanding of how dance is made.  You’ll have an awesome dance piece about yourself to cherish forever. You will also get more out of every dance performance you see in the future.

Here is how it works:

• We'll meet to discuss your ideas and expectations about the project and set up a timeline to create the piece.  We can discuss whether you will be dancing solo, with Chris, or with other dancers from Misnomer.  
• We'll schedule sessions to brainstorm and test out ideas as we craft your piece.  
• When finished, we can document the piece with a video recording.
