Through our Eyes - see theater from an artists's perspective

Bring a member of the Band of Toughs along to the next performance you attend and flex your artistic critique muscles with them after the show. This experience can give you invaluable practice interpreting and talking about theater in preparation for the critiques you will be required to do in school.

Here is how it works:

  • Your group can either select the performance to see or ask us to make a few suggestions.
  • Your group will purchase tickets to the performance for yourselves.  Groups can range in size from 4-10 people and should plan to spend about an hour in discussion after the show.
  • We will make the arrangements for the post-show conversation, reserving a table at a nearby restaurant or café. We won’t run a tab, so each member of the group can take care of their own check.

Click the "Yes, I'm Interested" button above to send us some information about your group and the type of performance you'd like to see.

Band of Toughs is committed to producing original, genre-mashing work that “puts the ass back in passion – and then kicks it!” Band of Toughs develops projects in a creative laboratory process, first presented in a workshop showing, in which the audience is invited to engage in an exchange of ideas as collaborators. Audience responses are incorporated into the ensuing rehearsal process, directly informing development of the final work.
